As a Strategic Communications Intern for the State Historical Society of Missouri, I primarily worked on video content creation for our social media platforms: Instagram and Facebook. From working with Mark Twain’s pipe, to the pen that signed in Senate Bill 1 in Missouri- the content I produced helped showcase items within their collections. I helped promote SHSMO’s online digital media presence by creating engaging and educational content that sparked curiosity and nostalgia for the audience. Through this position I was able to grow my technical skills in Adobe Rush, Pro and After Effects. Look below to see a selection of the short-length videos I have made for SHSMO!

In the permanent museum collection, we have the pen Missouri Governor Frederick Gardner used to sign Senate Bill 1, which granted Missouri women the right to vote in presidential elections. This video was posted as a Reel on Election Day 2024.
